Description
Queen’s Platinum Jubilee sampler to celebrate 70 years since the accession to the throne in 2022.
Queen Elizabeth II succeeded her father to the throne upon his death in 1952 and was formally crowned in 1953.
We have already celebrated her 25th, 50th and 60th Jubilees.
This sampler is based on the beautiful St Edward crown which was used for the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
The crown is drawn in softer colours than the previous Jubilee samplers to reflect the Platinum theme.
Thread colours are subtly blended to create delicate metallic shades.
Sparkling metallic thread is used to add vibrancy.
It will be easy to obtain a frame for the stitched sampler because it fits a standard 8″ x 10″ frame.
This sampler contains special threads that are not available commercially, and so it is not available as a chart.
